Hey everyone, it’s New Year’s Eve!
2014 has been a great year for me, personally and professionally. I’ve expanded my brand and businesses, met many acting and writing goals, and have formed some cool friendships through social media and my travels.
It’s been an awesome ride, and I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for me, and you guys. I’ll be spending the celebration with family at home. Wherever you’ll be, celebrate safely and I’ll catch you in the new year!
Merry Christmas everyone!
I’m taking a break from cleaning and gift-wrapping to wish you guys a happy holiday. Have safe travels and I hope you guys get everything you’d wished for.
So November is over, and December is here! Man—where did the time go?! I can’t believe that this year is almost over. Seriously, where did the time go?
This means that another NaNoWriMo challenge is wrapped up. Despite some roadblocks, I was able to meet my goal of 50,000 words. Yay!
In the middle of the challenge, I’d started to get stuck in my plot. So I took the time to write out the plot points, characters and traits on slips of paper and arranged them in different ways. Physically seeing the story allowed me to move the parts in the areas I thought they’d serve best. And then the words started flowing again! It’s a little easier to write when you know what your story is about.
So what will December bring for this story? Lots of editing, reshaping, and rewriting, which I really look forward to. For those who participated, what did NaNoWriMo bring you? Did you complete your word count goal? And what’s next?
For those who didn’t do the challenge, what are you working on this month?
